Testimonials

  • A’lexus Lofton
My shadowing experience with Dr. Whitfield was very enjoyable and educational. While shadowing with Dr. Whitfield, I learned how to properly listen to a patient’s heart and lungs, distinguish the difference between type I and type II diabetes, and the normal procedure/steps performed leading up to seeing a patient as well as making a diagnosis.

I appreciate CMMP for providing me with clinical shadowing experience. With the help of this program,I was able to connect the materials I learned in the classroom to real life experiences. Being able to see and feel what it is like to be a doctor firsthand, made me realize that I am called to practice medicine.

CMMP has provided me with a number of learning experiences. I was most impressed with observing how the doctors took the time to strengthen the doctor patient relationship and this experience confirmed my decision to become a doctor and affirmed that my passion is genuine.

Dr. Payne allowed me the opportunity to shadow her in clinic. Seeing her use a punch biopsy tool in a facial cyst removal and Hyfrecator during an angiolipoma removal was amazing. She was also very patient and thorough with answering any questions or comments I had.
